Genealogie van Jan te Gunnewijk uit Beltrum.
Vermelding in een lijst van toponiemen van de Heerlijkheid Borculo-Lichtenvoorde van 1188 tot 1500 onder het Kerspel Groenlo;
Gunnewyck in de jaren 1315 – 1316, 2 molder tarwe en de smalle tiend, leen van het huis Steinfurt
( 114:10, nr 7 ) ; en in 1473 te Gunnewyck, aanpalend erf van Gebbinck.
De naam Gonnewick in Beltrum wordt ook in 1529 vermeld in een belastingregister. Deze moest 1 golden betalen en dat geeft aan dat ze niet tot de armere familie`s behoorden maar tot de gewaarde erven zoals men dat toen formuleerde. Omdat het register zo is opgesteld dat de buren bij elkaar staan is het mooi te zien waar deze Gonnewick ongeveer heeft gewoond. Enkele van deze buren zijn namelijk, Heerdinck, Narpesfeldt, Kuelinck, Johan upten Brinck, Hemsinck, Roerdinck, Wilacker en Berndt Paiers. Deze boerderijnamen zijn nu nog steeds te vinden aan de ringweg te Voor-Beltrum, en dat klopt ook volgens een kaart van Beltrum uit 1823 waar de erven Gunnewijk opstaan en wel aan de huidige Gunninkweg een zijweg van de ringweg. In de lijst van 1553-1554 staat de naam Gunnewick vermeld in de zelfde buurt ook hier gaat het de familie nog goed want ze betalen 1 Golden, en in 1571 staat Gunnewick met ook 1 Golden aan belasting.
Er is ook een Dries, Hendrik en Trine Gunnewick gevonden in Beltrum in de 17 eeuw, dat deze familie zijn van Jan is voor mij wel logisch maar zolang er geen bewijzen zijn kan dat niet worden verwerkt, daarom begint deze stamboom bij Jan te Gunnewijk dit is een van de eerste personen die schriftelijk is vastgelegd in de kerkelijke archieven.
Van Dries Gunnewick is nog geen mannelijke nakomeling gevonden, wel een dochter, die ging naar Ruurlo.

The first record ever found from this Gunnewyck family is a list of ,, toponiemen’’ from the year 1315 -1316 made by the ,, Heerlijkheid Borculo – Lichtenvoorde “ between the years 1188 -1500 under the ,,Kerspel Groenlo”.

There is also a Gonnewick called in a tax record of 1529. This one had to pay 1 golden, an indication that this family was not poor at that time. Because the record show’s the neighbourhood of the Gunnewijk family, we have a complete picture of the place they lived, and that is the same place where it all started in 1315 at the Gunningweg in Beltrum.
I have a Google-Earth picture of this place on my website. There also is a map on my website made by the Baron van Heekren from the year 1823. Some of the Neighbours are Heerdinck, Narpesfeldt, Kuelinck, Johan upten Brinck, Hemsinck, Roerdinck, Wilacker and Berndt Paiers. ( s.a. Narkveld, Koelink, te Brinke op de Gunning.) (Gunnewijk).
Heerdinck’s farm stood there to, but this farm was rebuild after the tornado of 01-06-1927 at the Groenlose weg.
The farm-names are still used at this time in this neighbourhood of Voor Beltrum.
There is also a Gunnewick called in a list of the years 1553-1554 and a list of the year 1571 they both paid 1 golden tax to the ,, Heerlijkheid Borculo “.
There is a Dries, Hendrik and Trine Gunnewick found in Beltrum in the 17e century, that this persons are related to my family tree of Jan te Gunnewijk is almost sure , but as long there is no proof, I can only started with the first Gunnewick who is registered in a official document of the Church from about 1680. And that is Jan te Gunnewijk.
Dries Gunnewijk had only one daughter so there will be no family tree of him.
